Mike Crum

Mike Crum is the current Director at Cancer Care Services. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority from January 2004 to December 2012. In this role, they were responsible for CRVA’s venue management and administrative functions, including oversight of Spectrum Center, Charlotte Convention Center, Bojangles’ Coliseum, and Ovens Auditorium.

Before their time at the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, Crum served as the Managing Director for the Charlotte Auditorium-Coliseum-Convention Center Authority from January 1997 to December 2004. In this role, they were the Chief Executive charged with oversight of the sports, entertainment, and convention facilities owned by the City of Charlotte, which included the Spectrum Center (in partnership with the Charlotte Hornets), Charlotte Coliseum, Old Charlotte Convention Center, New Charlotte Convention Center, Ovens Auditorium and Bojangles’ Coliseum.

Crum also served as the Director of Finance for the Charlotte Auditorium-Coliseum-Convenation Center Authority from January 1989 to December 1997. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Business Manager for Market Square Arena, Pacer Basketball Corporation from January 1987 to December 1989.

Mike Crum received their MSA from Ohio University in Sports Administration and Facility Management. Mike also has a BS from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Business Administration. In addition, they have a certification from the International Association of Venue Managers in Certified Facilities Executive (CFE).
