Lizzy Johnston

Lizzy Johnston is a Senior Research Fellow at Cancer Council Queensland, specializing in survivorship research since November 2021, with roles evolving from Early Career Research Fellow to Manager and Team Leader within the Health Systems & Behavioural Research team. In addition, Lizzy serves as a Visiting Fellow at Queensland University of Technology and holds a position as a Research Affiliate at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, focusing on the Ovarian cancer Prognosis And Lifestyle (OPAL) Study. Prior experience includes lecturing and tutoring in Nutrition Science and Dietetics at QUT, along with various roles in dietary research and clinical nutrition across multiple organizations, complemented by practical experience as a Student Dietitian in various healthcare settings. Lizzy Johnston earned a PhD from QUT in December 2022, following a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics with Honours from the same institution.
