Anna Nicholson

Anna Nicholson is a seasoned professional in public health and research, currently serving as the David Hill Research Fellow and Research Associate (Honorary) at Cancer Council Victoria since September 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Research Evaluation & Monitoring Lead at Beyond Blue and Health Broker at the City of Greater Bendigo. Anna's academic contributions were made as an Academic Specialist in Non Communicable Diseases at the University of Melbourne and as a PhD candidate at Menzies School of Health Research. Anna began a career in healthcare as a physiotherapist at Royal Darwin Hospital and Werribee Mercy Hospital, following the completion of a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honors at La Trobe University. Educational qualifications also include a Graduate Diploma and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Public Health from Menzies School of Health Research.
