Emma Youd

Emma Youd is a philanthropy coordinator at Cancer Council Western Australia, bringing extensive experience in community development and program management. Previous roles include community development officer for the City of Rockingham, where management of the Community Grants Program and support for applicants were central responsibilities. Emma has also served as a positive ageing consultant for Frankston City Council, focusing on community recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as team leader for positive ageing initiatives. Significant leadership experience was gained at the City of Subiaco, managing community programs and developing strategic initiatives to address local issues such as homelessness and community engagement. Emma holds a Diploma of Events from Challenger Institute of Technology and an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts from WAAPA, reflecting a strong foundation in both community service and the arts.
