Kent Kurtz

Kent Kurtz is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in institutional finance and technology. As a TESP Partner and Founding Member at Tribeca Early Stage Partners since 2014, Kent has contributed to the investment of over 50 portfolio companies, achieving notable successes, including 11 exits and 4 unicorns. Prior experience includes serving as Director at Pacific Advantage Capital, focusing on early-stage investments in clean energy and medical technology, and holding leadership roles such as Board Chair at Pieces Technologies and Co-President at Flashback Technologies, where successful turnarounds were facilitated. Kent's earlier roles included Senior Managing Director at HSBC, leading a profitable restructuring of the US credit trading business, and Managing Director at Nomura Securities International, with expertise in equity options and volatility trading. Kent holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed further education at NYU School of Professional Studies.
