Benjamin Johnson has been in the software engineering field since 2010. Benjamin began their career as a Student at the University of Georgia. Afterwards, they worked as a Software Developer Intern at NueMD in 2013. In 2014, they joined OCHIN, Inc. as a Programmer/Developer, where they leveraged Java, Javascript, and Cache to implement EDI interfaces for healthcare data, formatted and met technical specifications for HL7, JSON, and XML data structures, and utilized RESTful web APIs, SOAP web services, and SFTP protocols to connect and send data to vendors. In 2016, they became a Freelance Software Engineer, leveraging skills in JavaScript, HTML, PHP, JQUERY, and JSON to contribute in building a web application to meet the clients needs and specifications, utilizing AJAX to make CRUD server calls for a data driven web application, and building websites for clients using JavaScript, PHP, and CSS to meet the clients specifications. In 2019, they joined CancerIQ as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer.

Benjamin Johnson obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Georgia between 2010 and 2014. Benjamin has also obtained a number of certifications, including an Interconnect Programmer from Epic in November 2016, an EpicCare Ambulatory Certification (Proficiency) from Epic in April 2016, a Mirth Connect Fundamentals from QSI | Mirth in February 2016, a Bridges Interface Certification from Epic in February 2015, and a Chronicles Database Programmer from Epic in February 2015.
