Mark Lu

Mark Lu has worked in the tech industry for over 10 years. In 2010, they began their career as a Project Engineer at CarWil. In 2011, they moved to Advanced Forming Technology as a Program Manager, where they led project teams and developed metal injection molded parts to meet strict ISO9001, ISO/TS16949, and AS9100 requirements. In 2017, they joined Email on Acid as an Associate Software Engineer. In 2019, they moved to Lodestar as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, where they helped businesses use visual data to automate business operations. In 2022, they joined CancerIQ as a Frontend Software Engineer, where they work to revolutionize healthcare by using genetic information to predict, pre-empt, and prevent disease.

Mark Lu obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines between 2005 and 2010. In 2017, they completed a Javascript Full Stack Web Development program from the University of Denver. In addition, they have obtained several certifications: Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in September 2019, SD2x: Data Structures and Software Design from edX in March 2019, SD1x: Software Development Fundamentals from edX in August 2018, and the University of Denver Coding Bootcamp from the University of Denver.
