Charlotte Bignell

Charlotte Bignell is a seasoned philanthropy events manager with extensive experience in high-value fundraising and project management. Currently employed at Cancer Research UK since June 2021, Charlotte leads cross-organisational teams to deliver impactful events that support the £400 million fundraising goal for the More Research, Less Cancer campaign. Prior to this role, Charlotte served as Events and Partnerships Manager at CRUK, managing flagship events like the Emeralds & Ivy Ball, which raised over £800,000 annually. Charlotte also held positions at Family Action, NSPCC, and Autistica, where responsibilities included enhancing donor engagement and delivering successful fundraising campaigns. Charlotte's early career began at the National Autistic Society as a Fundraising Assistant. Charlotte holds a BA in History and Anthropology from the University of Birmingham.
