Christopher Bot

Principal Scientist at Cancer Research UK

Christopher Bot has a diverse background in research, starting as a Research Scientist at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2005. Christopher then worked at Queen Mary, University of London as a Research Scientist before moving on to be a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Karolinska Institutet in 2012. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at Cancer Research UK, where they were promoted to the role of Principal Scientist in January 2022.

Christopher Bot completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from the University of York in 2003. Christopher then pursued a Master of Research (MRes) in Bioinformatics at the same university from 2003 to 2004. Later, they obtained their PhD in Molecular Biology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Queen Mary University of London between 2006 and 2011.
