Jake Mason

Jake Mason serves as the Senior Performance and Intelligence Manager at Cancer Research UK since March 2021, having previously held various roles within the organization, including Performance and Intelligence Specialist, Governance Manager, Senior Research Executive, and Research Executive. Additionally, Jake Mason is a Trustee at Farleigh Hospice, contributing to the organization since December 2024. Academic experience includes roles as a Postgraduate Researcher and Teaching Associate at The University of Sheffield from September 2017 to March 2021, as well as being a University Teacher at the University of Liverpool and an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University in 2020 and 2019 respectively. Previous experience also includes a position as a Prospect Researcher at Cavendish Cancer Care. Educational qualifications include an Executive Development Programme at Imperial Business School (March 2025 - March 2026), an MA in International Political Communication from The University of Sheffield (October 2016 - September 2017), and a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages (German, Dutch, and Luxembourgish) from The University of Sheffield (September 2012 - June 2016).
