Joanne Evans is an experienced fundraising professional with a strong background in engagement and cultivation strategies for cancer research organizations. Currently serving as the Engagement & Cultivation Lead at Cancer Research UK since June 2009, Joanne leads a national team to enhance supporter engagement and lifetime contributions while implementing new initiatives and events. Previous roles at Cancer Research UK include National Acquisition Manager, where Joanne developed and executed business strategies to identify new opportunities, and Senior Local Fundraising Manager, focusing on maximizing fundraising efforts in Surrey and internationally. Prior to joining Cancer Research UK, Joanne worked at Macmillan Cancer Support as Area Volunteer Manager, overseeing strategic planning and execution of fundraising activities in Tyne & Wear.
