Sophie Wedekind

Sophie Wedekind is currently serving as a Digital News Officer at Cancer Research UK since November 2022. Prior to this role, Sophie worked as a Digital Communications Officer with UWC International for a short tenure, focusing on content creation and social media management. From December 2019 to May 2022, Sophie gained experience as a Research Technician at Imperial College London, contributing to research studies and leading science communication projects. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student Volunteer at The Hearts Milk Bank and a part-time tutoring role at Explore Learning. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from King's College London and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Biomedical Science from the University of Warwick. Education was completed at Notting Hill & Ealing High School GDST.
