Irene Levy

Irene Levy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law, telecommunications, and public administration. Currently serving as the Representative of The Canada Chamber of Commerce in Montreal for CANCHAMMX since December 2022, Irene has also contributed as a columnist for El Universal since March 2011 and holds the position of President at Observatel A.C. since October 2010. With a legal background, Irene practiced as a lawyer at a telecommunications firm and was the owner of a legal firm until April 2022. Irene's previous roles include membership on the Comité de Participación Ciudadana del Sistema Nacional Anticorrupción and advisory positions at various organizations, alongside a career in academia as a law professor at Universidad Iberoamericana. Irene's educational qualifications include a law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho and multiple master's degrees in law and public administration, with ongoing studies for a Master’s degree in IT from Université de Montréal.
