Geoff Baxter

Geoff Baxter serves as the Chief Technical Officer at Candela Renewables, LLC since June 2018, overseeing the development of utility-scale solar and storage power projects focused on reliability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental benefits. Prior to this role, Geoff held senior positions in prominent companies including Senior Vice President of EPC and Operations at Recurrent Energy, Managing Director of EPC - Power Plants at SunPower Corporation, Director of Engineering at NextLight Renewable Power, Project Director - Solar at WorleyParsons, and Manager of Performance Optimization at Calpine. Geoff's career in the energy sector began as a Project Manager at Parsons - Energy and Chemicals Group. Geoff holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, along with an Associate of Arts and Certificate in Engineering Technology and Design Drafting from San Joaquin Delta College.
