Emma Bernström began their professional career in 2015 as an Administrative Assistant at Sweboat Service AB. In 2016, they took on the role of Administrative Program Assistant at Sveriges Radio. In 2017, Emma joined Mannheimer Swartling as a Junior Assistant. Emma then moved to Scania Group in 2019 as a Sommarpraktikant. Later that same year, they began working at Academic Work as a Consultant Manager and Staffing & Recruitment Assistant. Emma is currently employed at Candela | Electric Hydrofoil Boats, where they serve as a Talent Acquisition Partner.

Emma Bernström has a varied education background. From 2018 to 2021, they studied Ekonomi and Ekonomisk Theirtoria at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, earning an Ekonomie kandidatexamen (ek.kand.) degree. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Kungsholmens Gymnasium, studying Natural Science - engelskspråkigt naturprogram. Additionally, in 2019 they obtained an Excel komplett Svenska (excel course) certification from Learnesy, and in 2017 they obtained a Livräddning till havs certification from Marina Läroverket.
