Jean-Baptiste BILLOT has had a varied work experience since 2010. Jean-Baptiste began with an internship at Adixen by Pfeiffer Vacuum as a Mechanical Engineer Intern in 2010. Jean-Baptiste then had another internship at CAO Reflex as a Mechanical Engineering Intern in 2012. In 2013, they had an Industrial Research Internship at CCHP Laboratories - Polytechnique Montreal. Jean-Baptiste also had a Personal and Cultural Travel in 2013. In 2015, they worked at Pfeiffer Vacuum as a Mechanical Engineer, where they were responsible for product pre-design, compilation and documentation of technical specifications, and identification and research of key components to the system. In 2016, they worked at inContext AB as a Development Engineer - Component Owner (Scania). Jean-Baptiste's responsibilities included ownership of several electric components for all types of vehicles, compilation of the demand, specification, and verification of the components to achieve maximum performance and customer benefit, and development work and quality insurance in close collaboration with other services and suppliers. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Scania Group as a Product Owner VCB Distribution, Component Owner - Electric Driveline Power Distribution, and Test Engineer. Jean-Baptiste's responsibilities included being the owner and development leader of the power distribution units for electric drivelines, high voltage system architecture definition, research and investigation projects towards electrification, testing and validation of new solutions to be integrated to the low voltage system, and verification of power components in laboratory and on vehicles. Currently, they are working at Candela as a Product Owner Technology.

Jean-Baptiste Billot obtained a DUT in Génie Mécanique from Université Savoie Mont Blanc between 2008 and 2010. Jean-Baptiste then attended Polytech Annecy-Chambéry between 2010 and 2013, where they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Ingénierie Mécanique. In 2012, they completed a Semestre d'échange at Polytechnique Montréal in Génie Mécanique.
