Mats Zellmer

Mats Zellmer has extensive work experience in a variety of roles. Mats began their career in 1996 as Head Instructor and Instructor at Karlskrona Segelsällskap. In 2002, they served as a Corporal in the Swedish Royal Navy for 15 months. Following this, they worked at Handelsbanken as a Retail Banking from 2005 to 2008. Mats then moved to Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Consultant from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they became Manager at Capacent Sweden. In 2015, they joined Telia Company as Group Business Controller, where they were responsible for investment analysis and business partner for Norway and Baltics. Mats also developed a better understanding of top management concerns and was project leader for the development of a new financial planning process. In 2018, they moved to Telia Cygate as CFO, Head of Business Control, and Acting CFO. Currently, they are CFO at Candela | Electric Hydrofoil Boats, a position they have held since 2022.

Mats Zellmer obtained their Bachelor in Business Administration from Jönköping University in 2004-2007, specializing in International Finance. Mats then participated in an exchange program at Université du Québec à Montréal in 2006, studying Accounting and Finance. The following year, they participated in another exchange program at RMIT University, studying Business. Finally, they obtained their Master of Science in Business and Economics from University of Gothenburg in 2007-2008, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services.
