Sonia Bamford

Sonia Bamford is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Senior Solicitor at CANDEY since September 2016. In addition to this role, Sonia co-founded Libra Education in April 2017. Previous experience includes positions as an Associate Solicitor and Litigation Paralegal at CANDEY, as well as serving as a Legal Research Assistant to John McLinden QC at Field Court Chambers. Earlier in the career, Sonia worked as a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher with Teach First. Academic credentials encompass a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (MA Cantab) from the University of Cambridge, a BPTC from BPP Law School, and an LPC - Fast Track from the same institution, along with a PGCE in Secondary School Mathematics from the University of Exeter. Sonia's foundational education was completed at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls.
