Tiago Silva

Tiago Silva has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Tiago started their career as a Developer Trainee at IAITI - Instituto Agilus I+D in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Mobile Solutions Developer at Unicer. From 2010 to 2011, Tiago worked as a Researcher at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory. Tiago then moved on to work as a Software Developer at Card4B - Systems, S.A. from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, Tiago joined Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencia as a Researcher and IT Head. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at OLX as a Software Developer. In 2017, they joined Candidly as a Software Engineer and later became the Head of Engineering in 2018. Tiago's most recent role is as the Founder of Le Wine Bug, which they started in 2021.

Tiago Silva completed their education at various institutions. In 2003 to 2009, they attended Universidade do Porto, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Network Engineering. In 2011, Tiago pursued a Post Graduation in Project Management at the same university. In 2020, they attended Harvard Business School for a short duration and focused on Business Analytics. Additionally, Tiago has obtained several certifications such as WSET Level 1 from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in January 2022, Iniciação à Prova dos Vinhos from Plataforma NAU in December 2021, and a Certified Project Management Associate certification from IPMA in February 2012. Tiago also holds a certification in English B2.2 from United School and a Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org.
