Jorel Ballena is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative applications and optimizing web solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Candid™ since 2019, Jorel previously held the position of Software Engineer II at Honey from 2017 to 2019, contributing to the development of the Honey Digital Wallet and mobile application. Prior experience includes a role as a Web Developer at SRK Consulting from 2011 to 2016, where Jorel enhanced web application functionalities and improved user experience through advanced coding techniques. Jorel holds a Diploma of Technical Studies in Computer Information Systems Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
