Jakub Polak

Jakub Polak is a Software Engineering Team Lead at Candis since November 2022, focusing on the development and deployment of backend services utilizing technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, and Go. Prior to this, Jakub served as a Senior Software Engineer at Alteos from November 2020 to November 2022, where backend microservices were developed using similar technologies along with PostgreSQL and AWS services. Jakub's experience includes leadership roles, having been a Software Engineer and Team Lead at Omniscopy from September 2017 to November 2020, as well as teaching roles such as a Machine Learning Trainer at Panda Academy and a Java Trainer at Software Development Academy. Jakub's foundational work in software engineering began with positions as a Junior Java Developer and an intern, complemented by an academic background in business informatics and automation robotics from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business and Wrocław University of Science and Technology, respectively.
