Morriss L. Hurt

Morriss L. Hurt is a Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of EnCap Flatrock Midstream. Prior to joining EnCap Flatrock Midstream in 2008, Mr. Hurt was Founder of The Encino Group, a boutique investment bank providing institutional quality financial advisory services for entrepreneur-owned companies. In this capacity, Mr. Hurt raised growth capital for high-quality management teams and provided mergers and acquisitions, financial and strategic advisory services. Prior to Encino, Mr. Hurt was a financial analyst with Salomon Smith Barney in New York, working in the firm’s Global Power group.

Mr. Hurt serves on the San Antonio Children’s Shelter Executive Committee as Chairman of Finance / Treasurer and is an Investment Committee Member for San Antonio Academy. Additionally, Mr. Hurt serves on EFM’s internal ESG Committee as well as the Flatrock in Action Committee. Mr. Hurt earned a B.B.A in Finance from Texas A&M University. Mr. Hurt serves on the board of directors of several EFM portfolio companies, including Ironwood Midstream Energy Partners, Rangeland Energy III and Rangeland Energy IV.
