Ben Goodier

Ben Goodier is an accomplished leader in bio-innovation, currently serving as the Head of Bio-Innovation at Canfor since April 2021, where Ben has built a team focused on carbon opportunities and facilitated key projects in biomass-to-biofuel capital initiatives. Prior to this role, Ben held the position of Head of Corporate Development at Arbios Biotech, managing partnerships and funding for the joint venture with Canfor. Ben's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Ritchie Bros. in Data Analytics, and at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner, contributing to strategies in resource-extractive industries. Ben has also served in financial and engineering roles at Lundin Mining Corporation, Howe Sound Pulp and Paper, and the Pulp and Paper Research Institute. Ben holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
