Chanchala Ruwanthi Ekanayake

Chanchala Ruwanthi Ekanayake has been working in the accounting field since 2013. Chanchala Ruwanthi began their career as an Accounts Executive at Forbes & Walker (Pvt) Ltd. In 2016, they joined Schokman & Samerawickreme as an Assistant Accountant, where their key responsibilities included maintaining general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries for accruals and variances, reconciling bank accounts, company credit cards, expense accounts and financial records, and communicating with vendors and clients to facilitate timely payments and reduce outstanding accounts receivable. In 2021, they began working as a Junior Accountant at canibuild.

Chanchala Ruwanthi Ekanayake completed their G.C.E Advanced Level at Girls' High School Kandy, Sri Lanka. Chanchala Ruwanthi then went on to obtain a Professional degree in Accounting from the Association of Accounting Technicians, Sri Lanka in 2017. In 2018, they began a Bachelor of Accounting at Charles Sturt University, which they completed in 2021. In 2017, they also obtained an Associate Member certification from AAT Sri Lanka. In 2022, they obtained an Associate Member certification from CPA Australia.
