Through our signature program YANA –You are Not Alone – we provide holistic support to a child with cancer and the family, from moment of detection, through diagnosis, treatment and after. We currently operate in 99 cancer centers and hospitals in 22 states and 42 cities across India. Founded in 2004 under Indian Cancer Society, (Delhi), Cankids was registered as an Independent National Society (Not For Profit Charitable Organisation under the Indian Societies Act 1951) in 2012 . We have valid 12A. 80g and FCRA certificates. CanKids enables better standards of treatment and care by partnering with Cancer centers, assessing needs and filling gaps on an ongoing basis, through funding support, providing social support staff, enhancing capacities and driving quality care, research and impact assessment. Through stakeholder engagement and advocacy we aim to ensure that Childhood Cancer is a child health priority in India.
