Sagar Mehta

Sagar Mehta is an experienced engineer specializing in product development and mechatronics, currently serving as a Product Development Engineer at Cannabix Technologies Inc. since June 2020. Prior to this role, Sagar worked as a Mechatronics Engineer at Carpa 3D Construction Corporation, where contributions included the development of a large-scale 3D printer for affordable micro homes and the successful fabrication of a prototype for 3D concrete printing. Sagar's background also includes research as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University, focusing on uncertain nonlinear control systems and robust autonomous control. Sagar's early experience features internships at Bosch Rexroth India Limited, where a compact hydraulic power unit was developed achieving significant energy savings, and Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd., optimizing engine performance through airflow analysis. Sagar holds a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from PES University.
