Robert Gillett has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Robert began their career as a Surgical Representative Intern at Johnson & Johnson in 2008. Robert then moved to American Honda Motor Company, Inc. in 2009, where they worked as an Industry Education Intern. In 2010, they joined Singleton Entertainment Corp. as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In 2013, they pursued their passion of playing professional football with the Bolzano Giants. In 2014, they became the Founder and CEO of weCliq. In 2015, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Brown University. In 2016, they Cofounded, became CTO and CEO of CannaCtrl, where they designed, developed, and iterated on iOS and MacOS apps, created backend logic for pre and post API calls to MongoDB, implemented bluetooth integrations with external hardware, built live location tracking and route optimization for delivery drivers, patented an ID scanning camera tool, and ensured state compliance by implementing California's Track-and-Trace API. In 2022, they joined DASH Systems, Inc. as a Lead iOS Engineer.

Robert Gillett has a diverse educational background. Robert attended Palisades Charter High from 2003 to 2007, then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Engineering & Economics from Brown University between 2007 and 2011. In 2019, they completed a Disruptive Strategy course in Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School Online.
