Michael Glaros, AIA, LEED AP BD+C has over 25 years of professional experience in the architecture industry. Since 2016, they have been working as a Senior Vice President at CannonDesign. Prior to this, from 2009 to 2016, they served as a Senior Associate at Design Collective, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Chair of the Sustainability Committee, Manager for DCI India, Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai, and Studio Leader for projects in higher education, urban mixed use, and historic tax credit financed projects. From 1998 to 2009, Glaros worked as a Senior Associate at Ayers Saint Gross Architects + Planners. Michael also gained teaching experience during their career, serving as an Instructor at Maryland Institute College of Art from 2002 to 2007 and at Anne Arundel Community College in 2001. Glaros started their architecture career as an Architect at Mesick Cohen Wilson Baker Architects LLC from 1995 to 1998.
Michael Glaros, AIA, LEED AP BD+C obtained their Bachelor of Architecture degree (BARC) from Syracuse University from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, they received a Certification in Construction Documents Technology (CDT) from the Construction Specifications Institute in January 2002.
