Waka Mbai

Waka Mbai has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. They started their career in 2011 as an Intern/University Researcher at the Center of Excellence for Tactical and Advanced Communication Technologies (CETACT), where they gained knowledge and skills in building and studying Optical Communication Systems. In 2012, Waka continued their internship at CETACT, further expanding their understanding of fiber optic cables, modulation techniques, and obtaining signals.

In 2015, Waka joined Omega Engineering, PLLC as an Electrical Designer for a brief period of time. They then moved on to WB Engineers+Consultants, where they initially worked as an Electrical Engineer before being promoted to the role of Associate Electrical Engineer. At WB Engineers+Consultants, Waka was involved in various electrical engineering projects from August 2015 to April 2020.

After that, Waka joined CECA LLC as an Electrical Engineer from April 2020 to June 2021. Currently, Waka is working at CannonDesign as an Electrical Engineer, and in November 2022, they were promoted to the position of Associate Electrical Engineer.

Overall, Waka Mbai has gained significant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on designing electrical systems, studying optical communication systems, and utilizing various modulation techniques.

Waka Mbai completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Computer Engineering from Morgan State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, Waka obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Project Management Skills for Leaders" in February 2022, "Cert Prep: Revit MEP Electrical Certified Professional" in January 2022, and various personal finance and career management certifications in April 2020.
