Mitchell Sanders

Mitchell Sanders is the current Director at CannTrust. Prior to their current position, Mitchell was an Operator at Newalta from January 2012 to August 2012. Their duties included site-specific training for safety procedures, operation and maintenance of pumps, centrifuges and heavy machinery. From April 2011 to September 2011, Mitchell was an Administrative Assistant at FT Services where they were responsible for creating and updating reports of manpower allocation, creating a manual to instruct documentation responsibilities of various departments, streamlining the process of communication between new workers from union job board postings to payroll in HR services, organizing and scheduling appointments, planning meetings and taking detailed minutes, writing and distributing email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms, assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, developing and maintaining a filing system, ordering office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers, maintaining contact lists, submitting and reconciling expense reports, acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients, and liaising with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.

Mitchell Sanders completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at The University of British Columbia, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the University of Alberta. Mitchell then attended the University of Saskatchewan where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Law. Finally, Mitchell received certification from the University of Saskatchewan in Juris Doctorate.
