Leading a team of incredible individuals since January 2023, I am on a quest to revolutionize health systems and make a bold statement with Nooras' mission. With a background in leading the research team, I bring a curious mindset to everything I do, including my current role. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from Bangalore University and a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan, I have amassed over two decades of experience in public health.
I'm a nature enthusiast who finds zen on long walks and through meditation. When I'm not chasing professional goals, I'm busy having epic conversations with my teenage daughter and trying to decode the mysterious mind of my son. My adorable Shih Tzu is constantly trying to steal the spotlight from my kids.

Noora Health’s mission is to improve outcomes and strengthen health systems by equipping family caregivers with the skills they need to care for their loved ones. Founded in 2014, Noora Health works closely with local partners and governments, turning hospital hallways and waiting rooms into classrooms by tapping into the most compassionate resources available for the patient’s care: their own family. In collaboration with implementing partners in India, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, Noora Health has trained more than 3.5 million caregivers across over 400 facilities using their flagship caregiver education and training curriculum, the Care Companion Program (CCP). In a cohort of patients, the CCP reduced post-surgical cardiac complications by 71%, maternal complications by 12%, newborn complications by 16%, and newborn readmissions by 56%. Noora Health was honored as a TED 2022 Audacious Project Grantee and recipient of the 2022 Skoll Foundation Award for Social Innovation.
