Darren Cabral

Darren Cabral has an extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Darren co-founded Clientelligent in 2017, a machine learning company that was later acquired by Canoe Financial in 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Connor, Clark & Lunn Capital Markets Inc., including President, Partner & Director, Portfolio Manager, CFO, and Vice President. Darren also worked at Middlefield International Limited, Middlefield Group Ltd., and Middlefield Capital Corporation in leadership positions. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing, Strategy & Innovation at Canoe Financial.

Darren Cabral completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics for Commerce (Operations Research Stream) at York University from 1994 to 1999. Darren then went on to earn an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, Darren obtained the Canadian Operations Research Society Diploma in 1999 and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification in 2005.
