Joseph Barsness

Joseph Barsness is an experienced Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer with a focus on automation and manual testing across various platforms. Currently working at Vital Images, Inc. since October 2020, Joseph is responsible for testing applications that generate 3D/4D images for medical use and developing automation frameworks. Previously, Joseph worked at Horizontal and tapQA, enhancing software quality for clients such as SnapAV by executing test plans and ensuring firmware reliability. Joseph’s background includes a QA Engineer role at Activision Blizzard, where testing video game software was a primary responsibility. With a solid foundation in software development gained from Prime Digital Academy, Joseph also has diverse experience spanning from vendor coordination at Target to development internships. Joseph holds certifications and degrees related to software engineering and audio production from established institutions.
