Kirsten Boedeker is an accomplished professional in the field of medical physics with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Medical Physics at Canon Medical Systems Corporation since January 2018, Kirsten also holds the position of Chair for the CT Section at MITA, where responsibilities include representing major medical imaging device manufacturers and interfacing with regulatory and accrediting bodies. As a Technical Advisor to the US National Committee at IEC, Kirsten provides expertise on standards related to medical imaging. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Global Quantitative Image Quality at Toshiba Medical Research Institute, where strategic oversight on image quality metrics and compliance was key.
