Paul Groen has extensive experience in the medical equipment sector, currently serving as the Product Manager for Secondlife, CT & Mobile Solutions at Canon Medical Systems Europe since January 2018. Previously, Paul Groen held a long-term position at Toshiba Medical Systems Europe, starting in June 1998, where responsibilities included Product Manager for Secondlife and Senior Product Specialist for CT scanners. In these roles, Paul Groen focused on managing used CT scanners, creating work instructions and quality assurance documents, and overseeing the planning of mobile CT rental units and de-installations across Europe. Additionally, Paul Groen provided technical training for European engineers on high-end TOSHIBA CT systems and supervised TOSHIBA's refurbishment center. Early in the career, Paul Groen worked as a Systems Engineer for X-Ray diffraction equipment at Delft Instruments from August 1977 to June 1998. Paul Groen received education from Technical School The Hague between 1974 and 1977.
