Erwin Smit is a highly experienced professional in quality engineering, currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer and 6sigma master black belt at Canon Production Printing since January 2020, where leadership is provided as Teamcoach for QA EPG Expendables. Prior to this role, Erwin dedicated nearly three decades to Océ - A Canon Company, progressing from Research Medewerker to Teamcoach QA, with responsibilities spanning quality management, supplier agreements, and technical investigations into raw materials. Military service was completed as a sergeant with the Koninklijke Landmacht, and earlier career roles included practicum teacher at Hogeschool Enschede and analyst in medical settings. Erwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemische Technologie from HTS Chemische Technologie (1984 - 1988).
