Quality Lead Cut Sheet Printing Systems at Canon Production Printing

Pieter Verstegen has extensive work experience in the field of electronics engineering. Pieter started their career at Océ Technologies in 1999, where they worked as an electronics trainee before transitioning to electronic engineering. At Océ-Technologies, Pieter was responsible for electronics integration and test processes in large multidisciplinary projects. Pieter then became the team leader for electronics engineering, overseeing product lines such as the Océ Varioprint DP line, Canon varioPRINT 135 series, and Océ VarioPrint 6000 family. Pieter also served as the team leader for system integration of the VarioPrint i300 at Océ - A Canon Company, where they were responsible for technical integrations and various disciplines like mechanical, electrical, printing process, and software. Currently, Pieter is working at Canon Production Printing as the quality lead for cut sheet printing systems, ensuring product quality during the development phase in R&D. Pieter is involved in new releases and updates of existing products, as well as early phase projects in cooperation with the company's mother company in Japan. Throughout their career, Pieter has demonstrated expertise in electronics engineering, team leadership, and ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of products.

Pieter Verstegen attended Blariacum College from 1990 to 1995. Pieter then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Measurement, and Control from Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1999.
