Kimonas Sotirchos

Kimonas Sotirchos is a Software Engineer at Canonical since April 2023, leading MLOps engineering solutions for AI/ML tools on the cloud. Previously, Kimonas held the position of Software Engineering Manager at Arrikto from December 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing the internal MLOps platform and contributing to upstream Kubeflow. Kimonas also served as a Software Engineer at Arrikto and participated in Google Summer of Code 2020 as a mentor for Kubeflow. Kimonas' early experience includes an internship at Arrikto while completing a diploma thesis at the National Technical University of Athens, where a Master's Degree in Computer Science was obtained in 2019.
