Paride Legovini

Paride Legovini is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an interim Engineering Manager for Ubuntu Release Engineering at Canonical since January 2019, after holding positions as Senior Software Engineer and Core Ubuntu Developer. Paride has also been a Debian Long Term Support Consultant for Freexian and has contributed to the Debian project as a Debian Developer, Maintainer, and Sponsored Maintainer since 2015. Additional roles include being a Technical Reviewer for Packt, a Doctoral Student and Field Scientist at Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia, and various Information Technology Specialist positions across different organizations. Paride holds a PhD in Geophysics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and has a robust educational background in Physics from Università degli Studi di Padova and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
