Alicia Whitney

Alicia Whitney is an experienced recruiting and talent management professional with a strong background in the tech and startup sectors, particularly in AI and engineering roles. Currently serving as the Interim Manager of Engineering Recruiting at Headway since October 2025, Alicia previously held significant recruiting leadership roles at Carrara, Wisdom, and Orchard, where expertise in full-cycle recruiting, talent strategy, and diversity initiatives was demonstrated. Notably, while at Wisdom, Alicia successfully built the talent function from the ground up and implemented comprehensive recruitment systems that tripled the team size. Alicia has also held management positions at WeWork and served as Program Director at Asian Americans for Equality, showcasing a versatile skill set in recruiting, program management, and community engagement. Alicia holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree from New York University.
