Sejun Kim

SeJun (Peter) Kim is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Icarus since November 2024 and as a Powertrain Engineer at Canoo since March 2022, SeJun has demonstrated expertise in powertrain systems and mechanical design. Previous roles include Powertrain Mechanical Engineer at Faraday Future, Transmission Design Engineer at Honda R&D Americas, Inc., and Powertrain Lead Engineer with Bruin Racing. Additionally, SeJun has contributed as a Product Engineering Intern at Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company and as a Lab Assistant at the California NanoSystems Institute. SeJun holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, completed in 2018, following education at Herbert Hoover High School.
