Alois Rouffiac

Aloïs Rouffiac is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and pricing. Currently serving as the UK Chief Underwriting Officer and Active Underwriter at Canopius Group since October 2019, Aloïs also leads the Underwriting Strategy. Prior to this role, Aloïs held positions at Amtrust at Lloyd’s as Deputy Active Underwriter for Syndicate 1861 and Divisional Director of Underwriting Management. Aloïs’s career includes leadership roles in technical underwriting and pricing at ANV Global Services and a position as Pricing Actuary at Beazley. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Finance from Imperial College London and a Master’s in Computer Science from SUPINFO, alongside ongoing actuarial studies at the Institute of Actuaries.
