Cornelia Visser

Cornelia Visser has extensive experience in the insurance industry, starting in 2005 with CNA Insurance. Cornelia began as a Cargo Underwriter, responsible for underwriting new business and renewals for the London Agency. Cornelia effectively managed the workload and ensured service standards were met. From 2007 to 2010, Cornelia served as a Team Leader for the Underwriting Technical Assistant (UTA) area, overseeing the distribution of work and monitoring the technical development of the team members. Following this, Cornelia held the role of Business Analyst at CNA Hardy from 2014 to 2022, where they analyzed business requirements, maintained project documentation, and completed requirement documents. Currently, Cornelia is a Business Analyst at Canopius Group, starting in 2022. In this role, they collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, documenting and planning processes.

Cornelia Visser attended Strand Highschool in Strand, South Africa from 1995 to 1999. Cornelia did not obtain a degree or focus on a specific field of study during this time. From 2000 to 2003, they studied at Stellenbosch University and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Between 2003 and 2010, they pursued further education at CII where they obtained a DIP CII degree in Insurance. Lastly, from 2016 to 2018, Cornelia attended BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and completed the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, with a specialization in Information Technology.
