Matt Shieh has a diverse work experience. Matt is the CEO and co-founder of Canopy Aerospace since November 2021. Matt was also an entrepreneur at FedTech's Startup Studio from August to December 2021, where they collaborated with a team to validate business models and commercialize technology from national labs. Additionally, they worked as an MBA associate intern at NextGen Growth Partners from September to November 2021. Prior to that, they were a venture investor at LunaCap Ventures from July to September 2021. Before transitioning into the private sector, Matt served in the United States Air Force from 2012 to 2020 in various roles such as Assistant Director of Operations, Air Liaison Officer, Chief of Training, Standards & Evaluations Manager, B-52H Weapon Systems Officer, Unit Security Manager, and Student Combat Systems Officer.

Matt Shieh's education history is as follows:

From 2008 to 2012, Matt attended the University of Kentucky and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies.

In 2012, Matt also received a Top Secret/SCI certification from the United States Department of Defense.

In 2019, Matt obtained an Air Force Continuous Process Improvement certification from the United States Air Force.

In 2020, Matt completed the CORe (Credential of Readiness) Certificate program at Harvard Business School Online.

Currently, from 2020 to 2022, Matt is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
