Serena Garcia

Serena Garcia is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Editorial and Engagement Coordinator for the Atlanta Documenters Program at Canopy Atlanta since August 2022. In addition to this role, Serena has been an Adjunct Communications Professor at Edward Waters University since August 2017. Previous positions include Communications and Sustainability Director at Ujima, Inc., and Communications Manager at Clayton State University. Serena's background encompasses various roles in communications at organizations such as Cox Enterprises, Delta Air Lines, TIAA Bank, Allstate Benefits, AARP Georgia, and Hammonds House Museum. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Communication at Liberty University, Serena holds a Master of Liberal Studies from Fort Hays State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Savannah State University.
