Courtney Smith has worked in the professional world since 2007. Courtney began their career as a Customer Service Associate at the Beck Center for the Arts, where they assisted guests with ticket sales and class enrollments, distributed mail, deliveries, and communications, and trained new employees. In 2008, they took on an Accounting Intern role at Stepan CPA Firm Inc., where they performed clerical duties such as data entry, daily file work, answering phones, attending to customers, and running errands. Courtney also assisted with International Referral Network treasury duties and trained new interns. In 2011, Courtney began working at Hyland, where they have held several roles, including Test Analyst III, Test Analyst II, QA Analyst I, and Team Leader, Imaging Services. In their most recent role, they are responsible for the assignment of tasks, training and development, and compliance and accountability of 13 direct reports. Courtney also ensures department projects have adequate resources, productivity standards, and are adhering to their production schedules, as well as hosts customer conference calls and onsite visits to the company. Courtney is currently employed at Canopy, where they work as a QA Engineer.

Courtney Smith obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Columbia Southern University in 2020. Courtney also holds a certification as an OnBase Certified Installer from Hyland, creator of OnBase, which they obtained in August 2016.
