DD Burlin possesses extensive experience in both the legal and agricultural sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for Canopy Farm Management and Iroquois Valley Farmland REIT since December 2021 and November 2019 respectively, DD Burlin has also been a Co-Founder and key figure at Sustainable Local Food Investment Group (SLoFIG) since March 2010. Previous legal roles include Associate Attorney at London & Mead from 2003 to 2007, and Of Counsel and Associate Attorney at Margulis, Grant, & Margulis, P.C. from 1992 to 2000, specializing in criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, and appellate work. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center obtained in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Dartmouth College in 1989, with studies in Religion and Art History, complemented by a brief educational stint at Institut Paul Bocuse in 2002.
