Melanie Carruthers

Melanie Carruthers has a diverse background in cultivation and forestry, currently serving as the Manager of Cultivation at Canopy Growth Corporation since December 2021. Prior experience includes multiple roles at The Supreme Cannabis Company, Inc., where responsibilities spanned from Front Line Manager to Director of Cultivation, focusing on plant productivity and operations management. Additional experience includes positions as a Forester Specialist for the City of Kitchener, Climber at Ontario Line Clearing & Tree Experts, and Horticulturist for the Municipality of Kincardine. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Guelph and has completed a Diploma in Urban Forestry Technician and a Certificate in Arboriculture from Fleming College.
