Mariesha McAdoo

Mariesha McAdoo is a Data & Design Consultant at Canopy Mental Health & Consulting since April 2025, with previous experience as the Youth Innovation Director and Impact Communication Strategist at Youthprise until April 2025. Prior roles include Program Manager and Planner Analyst in the City of Minneapolis, where Mariesha led the redesign of data collection for behavioral crisis responders and conducted policy research on citywide service delivery. Earlier experience includes managing operations for OutFront Minnesota during an executive transition, serving as Graduate Research Assistant at the Community Equity, Data & Information Lab, and supporting IT needs at the UNC School of Information and Library Science. As a College Adviser with College Advising Corps, Mariesha guided high school students in post-graduation planning, emphasizing support for first-generation college students. Mariesha holds a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Duke University.
