Mia Prkusic, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Canso Investment Counsel Ltd. since March 2023 and a member of the Portfolio Management team. Previously, Mia worked as a Portfolio Manager at Portfolio HiWay from February to November 2024. Prior to that, a significant tenure at ANZ Investments from September 2015 to March 2023 included roles as Fund Manager Fixed Interest, Assistant Portfolio Manager, and Fixed Interest Analyst. Mia began a career in finance at ANZ as a Wealth Graduate from February 2013 to July 2014 and completed a brief internship at Ernst & Young as an Assurance Intern in late 2011. Mia holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Auckland, completed between 2009 and 2011, and attended Baradene College from 2004 to 2008.
